The Lung Cancer Research Foundation was founded in 2005 by Laurie C. Carson. After five years devoted to fundraising on behalf of lung cancer patients and their families at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Laurie, a pioneer in helping to raise awareness for the disease, has joined forces with friends and colleagues in order to expand her efforts across the country.

Bringing experience, insight, and commitment to the cause, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation seeks to give lung cancer a stronger voice, to help advance the pace of research, and to serve those whose lives have been affected by this life-threatening cancer.
