Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager - Dallas

The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager will be primarily responsible for raising revenue for assigned Free to Breathe Event Campaigns. This position will work closely with local volunteer committees, event participants, and local partners to ensure event goals are met. This role will report to a Regional Event Director. This is a remote position based in Dallas.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Grow participation and revenue in 2-5 assigned event markets and ensure income goals are met
  • Manage all aspects of supporting events ie Community Leader Breakfast and Kickoff for assigned markets
  • Recruit and retain teams for peer-to-peer fundraising events
  • Work closely with team captains and participants to develop personal and team fundraising plans by mentoring, coaching, and encouraging fundraising efforts
  • Provide customer support to event participants
  • Identify, cultivate, recruit and train local event committees
  • Identify and secure local event sponsors and partners
  • Populate regular reports to monitor event progress and determine fundraising and outreach strategies
  • Manage event logistics in assigned markets
  • Provide fundraising support and guidance to third party community fundraisers


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in development, including nonprofit event management and peer-to-peer fundraising experience
  • Proven success in fund development and executing on goals
  • Experience in planning, leading, and managing development events, including coordinating with volunteers for desired outcomes
  • Outstanding, articulate and persuasive communication skills, with well-honed relationship building skills and excellent public speaking and presentation abilities

  • Travel requirements for meetings and events (up to 20%)
