On Sunday, August 12, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) hosted the 7th Annual Strides for Life 3-mile run/walk in Southampton, NY. There were more than 1,000 people who registered for the race and there was more than $500,000 raised for critical lung cancer research. The Lung Cancer Research Foundation would like to thank everyone that participated and contributed to the success of the 7th Annual Strides for Life event.

On Sunday, August 14, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) hosted the 6th Annual Strides for Life 3-mile run/walk in Southampton. The purpose of this walk is to raise funds for critical lung cancer research. Over 700 people participated in the race despite torrential rain, and over $455,000 has been raised for critical lung cancer research. The Lung Cancer Research Foundation would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event. A record 1,100 people turned out to enjoy the gorgeous weather and bond with friends and family. Over $430,000 was raised for critical lung cancer research. On Sunday, April 11, 2010, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation held its inaugural Strides for Life - Arizona at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Over 175 participants came out on a beautiful sunny morning to walk around Tempe Town Lake. Over $26,000 was raised for lung cancer research with a portion of the proceeds going to Arizona based TGen (Translational Genomics Research Foundation). The Lung Cancer Research Foundation would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed to the success of our first event in Arizona. Despite the prospect of Hurricane Bill, LCRF had record attendance of 1,000 plus people which raised over $400,000 in support of lung cancer research. On August 26, 2007 the second annual Strides for Life fund raising event took place in Southampton, New York. With over 550 participants, this year's event raised in excess of $470,000 in support of lung cancer research and education programs. The first annual Strides for Life 3 mile fun run/walk was held on August 27, 2006 in Southampton, New York. From both attendance and fundraising standpoints, the results were most gratifying.
