On August 26, 2007 the second annual Strides for Life fund raising event took place in Southampton, New York. With over 550 participants, this year's event raised in excess of $470,000 in support of lung cancer research and education programs. The first annual strides for Life 3 mile fun run/walk was held on August 27, 2006 in Southampton, New York. From both attendance and fundraising standpoints, the results were most gratifying.
