DESCRIPTION:This golf outing is held by the Skokie FOP #68 in memory of Officer Jose Leos\, who passed away from lung cancer in 2019. He was a 14-year veteran of the Skokie Police Department as well as a U.S. Navy veteran. The inaugural event was held in 2020\, raising $4\,000 for lung cancer research.  \n\n\n\nReservations taken on a first-come basis through September 17. The first 36 foursomes to pay are guaranteed a spot. Use this form to register. Sponsorships are also available\, and raffle donations are being accepted. The Elliot’s Legacy event has drawn hundreds of participants in New Jersey to fly kites in honor of Elliott. On August 15\, the event continues to honor Elliot’s legacy and raise awareness and funds to support life-saving lung cancer research.
