Eric Singhi\, MD will discuss the nuances and complexities of younger people receiving and navigating a lung cancer diagnosis. Join us live\, or watch the recording afterwards\, to learn more about how this disease affects young people. \n\n\n\nDr. Singhi is a thoracic medical oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He will be joined by Laura Petrillo\, MD\, a palliative care physician-investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School; Young Lung Cancer Initiative Co-Founder and Executive Director Leah Phillips; Shira Boehler\, an author\, mother of four\, lung cancer survivor and preventative care advocate; and Michael Blackstone\, a patient with EGFR-mutated lung cancer. \n\n\n\nIsabel Preeshagul\, DO\, MBS\, will moderate. Their partnership was inspired by the profound impact cancer has had on their lives\, powering their commitment to make a difference. Together\, they advocate for a powerful message: “Awareness is hope and hope never quits!”  \n\n\n\nThis special night brings our community together to raise critical funds for pancreatic cancer and lung cancer research and brings hope to patients and families facing these diseases.
