Tenth Annual Elliot’s Legacy

On Sunday, July 9, 2017 LCRF will host its Tenth Annual Elliot’s Legacy: Kites for a Cure. Elliot’s Legacy was founded by family and friends of Elliot R. Chalmé, an avid kite enthusiast. Over the past 10 years guests have joined together in Elliot’s memory to raise more than $4.1 million to support lung cancer research.

Twelfth Annual Strides for Life

Summary:

On Sunday, August 13, 2017 LCRF will host its Twelfth Annual Strides for Life. The event, which includes a three-mile run/walk and 50-yard dash for children (ages 2-10) around Lake Agawam in Southampton, NY, helps increase awareness for lung cancer and raises funds to benefit innovative lung cancer research. Participants come from the Hamptons community, the tri-state area and beyond, and include professional runners, first-time runners, teams, families, children and many other lung cancer research supporters.

On Wednesday, November 1, 2017 LCRF will host its Twelfth Annual Lung Cancer Awareness Luncheon at The Pierre in New York City. The annual Luncheon educates attendees about the impact and ongoing importance of lung cancer research and LCRF’s Scientific Grant Program. The Luncheon will include presentations of the Scientific Merit Award and the William C. Rippe Award for Distinguished Research in Lung Cancer.

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017 LCRF will host its Fifteenth Annual Strolling Supper at Gotham Hall in New York City. LCRF’s Annual Strolling Supper brings together family members, friends and lung cancer survivors to help raise awareness and funds to benefit groundbreaking lung cancer research. Since inception, the event has raised nearly $15 million.
