LCRF 15th Anniversary Celebration

On November 17, 2020, the Lung Cancer Research Foundation celebrated 15 years of research breakthroughs with a virtual awards presentation and scientific symposium.

In addition to the presentation of the 2020 Scientific Grant Program awards, LCRF’s 15th Anniversary Virtual Celebration included a retrospective of how research has changed lung cancer treatment over the last 15 years. Lung cancer patients and researchers gave a glimpse of how research discoveries have impacted their lives and their work.

Following the celebration, a touching In Memoriam segment provided an opportunity to remember those we have lost to lung cancer. View additional memorials on our permanent In Memoriam page, where you can honor a loved one with a virtual plaque.

Finally, the Scientific Symposium included a roundtable discussion on overcoming resistance, moderated by Dr. Katerina Politi with panelists from esteemed institutions across the country.
