The event sites opens at 9:00 AM.
When you arrive, grab your flying butterfly from the Butterfly Tent — you’ll need it for an interactive part of our Opening Ceremony!
Need something? Visit the LCRF Central Tent if you:
- Need to register additional family or team members
- Want to turn in a donation or make a donation
- Are a team captain and need your Team Captain button
- Have raised $500+ and earned your Top Fundraiser button
- Need lung cancer resources or support
- Would like to grab a White Ribbon from the White Ribbon Project
- Want to say hi and meet LCRF staff!

Pick up your T-shirt if you’ve raised $100+ at the T-Shirt Tent, visit our amazing sponsors for free giveaways and resources, dedicate a butterfly at the Why We Walk tent, play family games, take team photos, grab a light snack and water, visit the Kids Area for face painting, and try the board-breaking experience with W. Kim Tae Kwon Do.
At 10:00 AM, stop everything and join us at the stage for our Opening Ceremony! Our 2-Mile Walk begins immediately after the ceremony.
Once you’ve concluded your walk, feel free to come back until the event wraps up around noon!
