- Date: Sunday, octubre 5
- Location: Montrose Harbor | 400 W. Montrose Harbor Dr. | Chicago, IL 60640 | MAP
- Parking: Parking is free along N. Simonds Dr., and a paid parking lot is located right across from our event venue.
Schedule
- 9:00 AM | Site opens
When you arrive, please…- Grab your flying butterfly at the butterfly tent (your butterfly is an interactive part of the Opening Ceremony)
- Stop by the CHECK-IN tent IF
- you need to register additional team/family members
- you would like to drop off donations or make a donation
- you are a team captain (to get your team captain button!)
- and if your team raised $2,500, you will receive a exclusive sign for your team to walk with!
- Stop by the T-SHIRT tent if you raised over $100
- Visit our incredible sponsors (and grab swag & resources)
- Dedicate a butterfly in honor of your loved one at the WHY WE WALK tent (You can bring and post photos and/or write a note to place on our giant walk bib.)
- Play family games, including giant Jenga and Connect Four
- Kids! Get your face painted!
Then…stop everything you’re doing to join us for the…
- 10:00 AM | Opening Ceremony
- 10:15 AM | Walk begins
Once you’ve concluded your walk, please come back and enjoy all our activities until the event wraps around noon!
Reminders
- Don’t forget to remind your friends and family to not only come with you, but to get their donations in!
- Online registration will close Friday, oct. 3 at 12:00 PM CT, but your friends can still come along for walk day and register on site.
